Pool Rules
- Lifeguards are authorized to enforce rules and respond to emergencies.
- Children under 6 years of age OR under 48 inches in height must be directly supervised by an adult in the water. Parents and guardians must remain responsible for the supervision of their children at all times.
- No person under the age of 14 shall be allowed to supervise a child 8 years of age or younger.
- Non-swimmers cannot go beyond shoulder depth water.
- Pool staff can require anyone in the pool to perform a swim test before using the diving board, lazy river, or deep water area.
- All swimmers in diapers must wear swim diapers. No regular diapers in the water at any time. Diapers must be changed in designated change areas.
- No diving in shallow water.
- No person with a communicable disease, including vomiting or diarrhea in the last two weeks, may use the pool.
- This is a drug and alcohol free facility. No person under the influence of alcohol or drugs is permitted inside the Aquatics Facility.
- Cigarettes, nicotine or smoking devices which cause any smoke, mist, vapor or the like to be emitted through its use smoke/electronic cigarettes are prohibited inside the Aquatics Facility and shall not be used within 25 feet from any pool entrance.
- Food or drink in lobby area only. No gum or glass containers allowed.
- All persons must shower prior to entering the pool.
- No running, pushing, dunking, excessive splashing or horseplay of any kind.
- No hanging or playing on divider ropes. If someone is hanging on the rope, assume that they are having trouble swimming.
- Fighting, vandalism, harassment, or violent behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate dismissal from the facility.
- Only properly fitting, Coast Guard approved life jackets that are approved by pool staff are permitted. No outside inflatables such as water wings, baby floats, etc.
- No face masks allowed. Goggles that do not cover the nose are ok.
- If worn on pool deck, all footwear must be clean.
- Persons with seizure, heart or circulatory conditions should not swim alone.
- Location of first aid kit: Staff Room.
- Report all accidents and incidents to pool staff immediately.
- Additional rules may be required, when necessary, for the safety and enjoyment of the pool user.
- All pool patrons are responsible for complying with the rules. Failure to obey facility rules or staff may result in loss of privilege to use facility.
