Report a Concern

SVexpress is a web-and app- based service that allows resident to report a concern to the city, such as a downed street sign, pothole, illegal graffiti or dumping of trash.  With your help, we can work together to ensure the city streets, pathways and parks are clean and safe. Report your concern by submitting a request for service through SVexpress 24/7 and it will be processed during regular business hours. SVexpress is also available via a mobile app download from the Apple Store or Google Play. Do not use SVexpress if it is an emergency, dial 911.  

Citizen Complaints

The City of Spokane Valley takes very seriously all complaints regarding the service provided by the Police Department, and the conduct of its members. It is equally important that the community can report misconduct without concern for reprisal or retaliation.

Our Officers are held to a high standard and must act with the utmost tact and diplomacy.  The goal of our Police Department is to handle every situation in a fair and impartial manner, not only in compliance with all legal and moral standards, but also to the satisfaction of all parties involved.  Should you have an unfortunate experience with an Officer the City    Personnel complaints consist of any allegation of misconduct or improper job performance against any
